Our Mission

Welcome to Dance for the Health of It of SCW!  We are dedicated to providing you the very best dance exercise program in Sun City West. 


Dance for the Health of It of SCW is exercise through learning the basic steps and rhythms of many difference dance styles including West Coast Swing, Rumba, Cha-Cha, East Coast Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, Charleston, and more! Our classes are for individuals, so no partners are needed. Our instructor and choreographer, Kort Kurdi, builds routines one step at a time and uses great music from Big Band to Today's Top 40. Kort's unique approach to teaching, along with his energy and humor, keep us dancing, exercising, and smiling! Three exercise levels are available during the week. Routines have a light-to-moderate cardio intensity and focus on balance and control of motion. Join any level at any time. Take one or more levels depending on the amount of dancing and exercise you want. We'll save you a spot on the floor!
